Thomas Sabo opens its first flagship store outside Europe on August 16 in the new Westfield WTC in New York City. Todd Tieche, formerly of Richemont, Morellato and Parmigiani, also joins the brand as wholesale director Thomas Sabo US.
"The opening of our first flagship store in the US is a big step for the company in terms of positioning Thomas Sabo as one of the leading premium jewellery and watches brands worldwide," said the brand’s founder and chairman Thomas Sabo.
Head of Sales US and Canada Christoph Gerschutz noted that Tieche’s expertise will support the brand’s overall growth. "Thomas Sabo also cooperates with industry-renowned distributing partners for a fast, continuous and stable expansion across the US. We are looking forward to seeing further growth through Todd and his team," he added.

Thomas Sabo currently operates almost 300 of its own shops across all five continents and collaborates globally with approximately 2,800 trade partners.
The Thomas Sabo flagship store at the new Westfield WTC in New York City opens on August 16, 2016. This is the brand's first flagship store outside Europe.
